the scene in our next half hour. from stockton, we told you about this, a little while ago, they chased down a homicide suspect from from the area again, they have closed down a road in stockton which has been closed for the last several hours. they had no choice but to shoot and when the pursuit ended, the suspect pointed a knife at them. and he broke familiar a police officer's car. a man stole his badge. and they are worried somebody stole the badge in order to go out and impersonate a police officer. if you think you have been stopped by somebody

not only in bay point, let's go back to the desk. we continue with the breaking news we started with, an apartment building in san leandro caught fire forcing dozens to evacuate their homes in the middle of the night. investigators may have pinpointed what happened. we are hoping to get more finding about residents who have been displaced at least 50 have been displaced on bancroft avenue. this fire from overhearing started on the first floor of this four story apartment complex and from what we understand from the homeowner or from the tenant we spoke with, they were still heard and

there were flames coming out from that bathroom. the and it isup clear as tonight as to how this started and it is unclear if it has spread to other units. this man said he was scared for his life. >> when up came into my bed and opened the door to my bathroom, the fire came out. came out and i just closed the door again and take my family out. and he said he was knocking on his neighbors doors trying to get them out as well. this is bancroft in san leandro and you are seeing many of the

she was found, moaning groaning a little bit, stated she needed help but she was conscious and sort of gasping for air so i scooped her up and brought her outside. >> she was taken to the hospital as was her husband as well. >> they are being -- that dog was also saved and unconscious and they saved him and now that dog is at the animal hospital being treated. this is the living room area where the fire started and it spread to the kitchen area. they are on the opposite end of the house and they described they had to get out.

the spot where anthony garcia was killed while riding a bike. this has been the biggest that they have handled. anthony garcia is now trying to raise money for the funeral where the teen was a student. everybody reported him and he died after being hit by a car while riding his bike. that accident is still being investigated and it is the 25 25th accident and the 40th fatality since january. police are concerned about this and are not sure what is causing this. they are reminding people to slow down especially those in
